- • Ed served for six years in the United States Air Force around the globe, receiving the Air Force Achievement Medal and the Air Force Accommodation Medal for his service to our country.
- •Upon completion of his tour of duty in 1990 he pursued a career in the financial services industry with one of the nation’s largest insurance companies. In 1991 he was awarded the Rookie of the Year for sales. In 1993 he was hand selected to enter the executive training program. In 1994 he was appointed as a managing director for two agency operations which involved overseeing approximately 20,000 – 25,000 in-force client contracts and investor assets of approximately $200,000,000. As a managing director from 1994 through 2001 his agency operation had received numerous awards and recognitions for profitability and growth on a national level.
- • Ed has a solid leadership and management track record. He has served as a Director on various business boards, two of which are the Waban Projects Inc. and the York Housing Authority Board of Directors. Waban Projects Inc. is a non-profit organization with in excess of 200 employees located in York County which promotes the general welfare and education of children and adults with developmental disabilities. The York Housing Authority has a mission of providing affordable housing for the seniors in York, Maine. Over the past 10 years we have developed in excess of $7,000,000 of rental units for affordability for the seniors.

- • In his free time Ed enjoys traveling, golf, reading and spending quality time with his daughter.
